Will is an artist and architectural designer whose practice focuses on ink and paper to explore the balance between potential space and form. He received his B.Arch from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, studying in Japan, Spain, and Italy. Parallel to his formal architecture training, McNeil developed his artistic technique by echoing the lines of artists like Kim Jung Gi, Moebius, Hirohiko Araki, and various others. From them, he learned the depth a singular line can convey and has remained faithful to this ethos. He has shown his work at exhibitions throughout the Midwest.
