Single-family residence
Lakeside Residence
Lake Geneva, WI · 2023
Designed for a family of four, this residence uses a simple bar plan to hold the entire program under one continuous roofline. Cedar cladding weathers into the surrounding tree line, while a glazed living wing opens the main living spaces directly onto the lake.
Urban infill residence
Modern Infill House
Chicago, IL · 2021
Built on a 25-foot lot between two existing brick two-flats, this project reinterprets the traditional Chicago frontage in blackened steel and light-colored brick. An interior courtyard brings daylight into the deep floor plate.
Studio / adaptive reuse
Studio Addition
Ann Arbor, MI · 2020
Designed as a working studio, the addition prioritizes consistent north light above all else. A steel clerestory band runs the length of the space, and the original garage structure was preserved and re-clad rather than demolished.
